The Jellyfish RACK shared storage server can be used with or without a switch.
Users can connect directly into one of up to 16 RJ45 onboard 1GbE or 10GbE (option SFP+) ports or add a switch for additional expansion.
There is no limit to the number of users connected simultaneously.

PS. There are no license fees charged for extra ports, just the hardware cost of the NIC.

Expansion
Every Jellyfish Tower can connect up to 3 Jellyfish R24 Expansion chassis of any capacity (96-432TB).
Max capacity for R24 servers is 1.728PB - 4x 432TB.
If you don’t want to add expansions now and you run out of storage in the future, you can always add a Jellyfish Storage Expansion by contacting Cedric at Labspace.
Please note that the increase of read and write speeds for expansion purchased after your initial implementation won’t be noticeable right away as it will take time for the data to balance between the original and the new hard drives.

DATA Security
SOFTWARE RAID PROTECTION
